CARPE DIEM painting and word by Larry

Synopsis:
Matthew 24:1 Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple. 2 And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” Man, created in the image of God, sinned against his Maker by eating the forbidden fruit. All of God’s plan to redeem mankind from the scourge of sin pointed to Christ Jesus and his complete work of salvation through His crucifixion, death and resurrection. Man, on the whole, has however rejected the Messiah which is altogether antichrist¾ symbolized by the peace sign of the 70’s. So ‘carpe Diem’ or seize the day¾ while it lasts! Should one embrace a literal approach to eschatology, the hour is coming when the Lord will unleash His judgments upon an unsuspecting world enmeshed in sin. The four horsemen with Hades in tow shall sift a generation and ‘separate the sheep from the goats.’ There will be blood and some will burn! Descend ye horses from heaven’s gate and sift the world asunder till Armageddon’s wake L.J (cf. Revelation 6-13; Matt. 16:26; 24; Proverbs 6:6; Genesis 3. Ps. The end times shall witness a revived Roman empire, thus the Maserati logo)
